A kitchen works hardest after dark, and good lighting decides whether cooking feels effortless or frustrating. In this project, CL Lighting combined under-cabinet task light with soft ambient strips so the kitchen stays bright where it matters and warm everywhere else.
Design Concept
Kitchen lighting should follow the workflow of the space rather than light it uniformly:
- Under-cabinet task light – LED strips inside base cabinets light up the storage so items are easy to find, while staying energy efficient.
- Counter lighting – the worktop under the hanging cabinets needs shadow-free light, so strips are mounted at the front edge of the cabinet bottom, facing the backsplash.
- Warm ambient layer – dimmable warm white above dining and island areas keeps mealtime comfortable instead of clinical.
With one tap in the App the same kitchen moves from bright “cooking mode” to a soft “dinner mode” – no rewiring, no extra switches.
